Hornets Open 2025 Season, SPC-Counter Action
The Greenhill girls lacrosse team had a tough start to the season with two losses.
On March 1, the Greenhill girls lacrosse team fell to St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, 8-21. Lauren Harrington dominated in the midfield with 4 draw controls. She also got her first hat trick of the season with 3 goals in the game. Claire Koehler also got her first hat trick of the game. She also had 2 forced turnovers and 4 ground balls during the game. Valentina Casa-Sayek had 3 draw controls and 2 goals during the game. Stella Pikar, Marleigh Massoud, Jenna Stenberg, and Georgia Tomecko all forced turnovers in the game. Asha Blewett had 13 saves, which was a 61.9% SP. On March 7, the Greenhill girls lacrosse team faced a tough Episcopal School of Dallas team on the road, where they fell 0-18. Asha Blewett had 9 saves in the net (50% SP). Lauren Harrington came away with 2 draw controls and 2 ground balls. Georgia Tomecko, Jenna Stenberg, and Briana Solomon all forced turnovers in the game. |
