College Counseling
College Counseling
Greenhill’s college counseling program provides individualized support for each student to help them find colleges and universities where they can thrive. In college, our students will continue to grow as researchers, journalists, artists, athletes, and student leaders – all in pursuit of leading an authentic, purposeful life.
Our counselors have vast experience in college admission and college counseling and work actively by visiting colleges, attending conferences, and communicating Greenhill nationally and around the globe. They partner with Greenhill families to provide customized guidance throughout the process, including:
- An assigned college counselor who facilitates individual sessions, designed to identify colleges that are a great fit for the student's interests and goals.
- Small-group sessions where counselors advise students on campus visits, interviews, and understanding all aspects of the college application and admission process.
- Large-group sessions for students and parents/guardians to learn about the college admissions process.
- Hosting college visits and special college admission professionals who come to Greenhill to share their perspectives on the process and offer insight into their colleges.
- Information on college costs, college financing, and the financial aid process.
Four-Year PlanOur program approaches college counseling in a developmentally appropriate way that recognizes the diverse needs of students and the stages of their academic and personal growth. Tailoring guidance to individual development fosters a supportive environment that addresses educational goals and personal aspirations.
