Hornets End in Third in SPC Championship

The Greenhill boys and girls swimming and diving team placed third at the 2024-2025 Winter SPC Championships on February 13-15 in the DFW area.

The Greenhill boys and girls swimming and diving team entered the SPC Championship, ready to defend the championship titles they earned last year. They secured their spots in the finals, with over a dozen swimmers advancing.

In the finals, the swim team had a remarkable showing, setting four school records and earning multiple podium finishes in the relays. Both teams placed third overall in SPC, with a combined team ranking of second – just behind powerhouse St. Stephen’s School.

The following school records were broken:

  • Boys 200 Medley Relay: Zach Geller '26 (24.58), JJ Arbuckle '25 (26.35), Lucas Wang '26 (24.97), Oliver Ferris-Rojas '27 (22.91) - 3rd Place
  • Boys 200 Free: Zach Geller '26 - 2nd Place (1:41.61)
  • Boys 200 IM: JJ Arbuckle '25 - 3rd Place (PB: 1:52.05)
  • Boys 100 Breast: JJ Arbuckle '25 - 3rd Place (PB: 57.84)
