Ruby Garza is a junior who is thrilled to be playing Elizabeth in The Crucible! Outside of theater, Ruby is very involved in the Fine Arts at Greenhill, being co-president of choir, in Advanced Video Production, and on the Greenhill improv troupe. In addition, she runs varsity cross country and varsity track. She has loved being in the play throughout this semester, getting to know the rest of the cast and crew, and playing Elizabeth! Syrus is over the moon to perform in his first spring play at Greenhill. Even though he wanted to be a witch burnt at the stake with awesome special effects, he is really happy to have been cast as Proctor. He started acting at Summer on the Hill theater programs and spent the next several years honing his skills until his first musical, Elf, Jr., in Middle School. He also performed in Mean Girls and his first play, Water. Gun. Argument., at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He had a great time as Sophie's father in Mamma Mia! and wants to thank VHS for her incredible artistic vision and patience!

Ayaana is super excited to work on her first Upper School play production as a freshman! She has taken on many other roles in Middle School theater, including Deb from Elf Jr., The Sour Kangaroo from Seussical Jr., and Bruce from Matilda Jr. In her first semester in Upper School, she was a part of the musical Mamma Mia! and contributed as part of the ensemble. However, she was also tasked with the challenge of being one of the lead roles’ understudy! Ayaana is continuing to grow and learn more about what it is like to be a part of a big and talented production while learning new things and making new friends! Her love for theater only grows from here.

Lydia is a sophomore, and this is her eigth show at Greenhill (fifth show with Upper School). Her favorite roles have been Sophie in this fall’s production of Mamma Mia! and Hero in last year’s play Much Ado About Nothing. When she is not acting, she is usually drawing or painting. Lydia would like to thank VHS and Ms. Goold for being such wonderful teachers and directors and for giving such great advice!

Dhilan is very excited to have the opportunity to act in his first play for Greenhill. He has the luxury of being able to work with a director who is very experienced and is gaining a lot of knowledge and skills. He has performed many monologues in the past, including the Batman Monologue and The Good, The Bad, and The Evil. He has some experience in scenes and plays relating to Indian culture. He would like to thank his grandpa in particular because he got him interested in acting as a whole.

Lila is excited to work on her last show at Greenhill. She has been in four play productions, including performing at the Fringe Festival this past summer. Overall, she has been in eight productions at the school and also performs in improv. She believes that this is an important time to be doing the play because it is so relevant to the current world.

This is Parker's fourth show working tech at Greenhill and his first time on the light board. Before The Crucible, Parker helped design and build sets for Mamma Mia!, Much Ado About Nothing, and Big Fish. He is also very proud to have won the “Phantom of the Opera” and “Techie Heartthrob” paper plates in his last two shows. Parker would like to thank Mr. Turbyne and Mrs. Burns for their guidance and support throughout his time in tech.

Ava is a senior at Greenhill, and this is her second Greenhill production and her tenth overall show. One of her favorite roles was Christine Canigula in Be More Chill. Ava is so excited for this production, as it is her last one at Greenhill! Outside of theater, Ava loves anything and everything related to art and music. Elise has been performing since she was very young, and so far, her favorite production is Much Ado About Nothing, in which she played the role of the Friar. She’d like to thank Mrs. VHS, Mrs. Goold, Mr. Martin, her parents (SO much driving), friends, and everyone part of this production, both onstage and off. She’s incredibly proud of the growth and accomplishments she’s witnessed – onstage, backstage, and among the teachers who make it all possible. Some theater highlights of hers include Donna in Mamma Mia!, Regina George in Mean Girls, and her Schmitt Jones Nomination for Aquata in Greenhill’s The Little Mermaid. She would like to give a special thanks to her mom and dad for always supporting her through her highs and lows. She would like to thank her mother for driving her out to KD studios for acting classes years ago so she could perfect her acting skills and the Greenhill community for accepting her and truly making this school a home by allowing her to flourish and be all that she wants to be.
