Hornets Earn Second Place in SPC Championship
The Greenhill boys soccer team finished as runners-up in the 2024-2025 Winter SPC Championships on February 13-15 in the DFW area.
The Greenhill boys soccer team entered the SPC Championship as the #1 seed, earning them a bye in the first round. To open their championship run, they faced St. Marks School of Texas with a thrilling finish. After a hard-fought battle that extended into overtime and then penalty kicks, it all came down to the final kick. Noah Piper ’25 delivered the game-winning save to a 2-1 victory, securing the team’s spot in the championship round. In the championship round, the Hornets fought hard in the championship match against a strong Episcopal High School squad, but couldn't overcome their opponent, finishing in second with a 3-0 loss. They finished the season 11-3-5 and 7-1-2 against SPC opponents. Congratulations on a remarkable season! |
