Hornets Nab Second Win in a Row

The Greenhill football team improved on the season with a 38-26 win over Trinity Valley School on the road.

The Greenhill football team earned a 38-26 road victory against the Trinity Valley Trojans on Friday night. The Hornets started off the game strong, putting up 10 points in the first quarter and keeping the lead for the game.

Will Black threw for 267 yards, finding his target 58.1% of the time (18 completions out of 31 attempts). His top target, Bryson Watt, caught 8 of those passes for 178 yards and two Greenhill touchdowns. Trey Davis contributed 2 points for the Hornets on a two-point conversion.

On the ground, Will Black earned 3 rushing touchdowns, and Andrew Puplampu collected 58 yards on 14 carries.

The Hornets were busy on the defensive end as well, with Dillion Watt pulling in 1 interception and Kaden Catillo having 1 fumble recovery.

The Hornets are second in the district and face Houston Christian High School on Friday at 7:00 pm.
