Hornets Earn First Place Finishes, Victories
The Greenhill girls swim team defeated Alcuin, Parish, and ESD at a home meet last week.

The Greenhill girls swim team competed against Alcuin School, Parish Episcopal School, Episcopal School of Dallas, and Bishop Lynch High School on December 11. The Hornets won every individual event, plus all three relays, over Alcuin, winning 126-30. The girls won 7 out of 8 individual races, plus 2 out of 3 relays, over Parish, winning 116-34. They also won 7 out of 8 individual races, plus all three relays, over ESD, finishing on top 123-24. The girls competition against Bishop Lynch was tough, but the girls fought hard, winning 7 out of 8 individual races, plus 2 out of 3 relays. However, they were unable to get the win, falling 84-86. Overall, 1st place wins came from Avery Lonergan (200 Free, 100 Free), Sasha Wai (100 Butterfly), and Jordan Arbuckle (200 IM, 100 Breast). |
