Hornets Close Out Regular Season

On March 29, the Greenhill girls lacrosse team lost to St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, 5-22. Goals for the Hornets were made by Claire Koehler (1), Valentina Casa-Sayek (1), and Ella Costabile (1). Forced turnovers were made by Valentina Casas-Sayek (1), Dhiya Hemchand (2), Lucia Tellini (1), and Briana Solomon (1).

Claire Koehler (3), Valentina Casa-Sayek (1), Lucia Tellini (1), and Briana Solomon (1) had ground balls during the game. Claire Koehler (1), Valentina Casa-Sayek (2), Dhiya Hemchand (1), Ella Costabile (1), and Alexis Chen (3) came away with draw controls.

On March 31, the Hornets fell to Plano Lax Club, 8-11. Claire Koehler dominated the attack with 4 goals and 2 draw controls. Valentina Casa-Sayek and Ella Costabile both scored 2 goals on the night. Briana Solomon had 2 assists. Lucia Tellini, Ella Costabile, and Briana Solomon all had one forced turnover during the game.

On April 7, the Hornets fell to Hockaday School, 1-20, in their final SPC-counter action match. The girls move on to the SPC Spring Championship on April 10-12.
