Senior Announced as 2025 Cameron Impact Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations to Varun Mukund '25 for being selected as a recipient of the 2025 Cameron Impact Scholarship.
Earlier this year, the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation announced the 15 recipients of the 2025 Cameron Impact Scholarship, including Greenhill’s Varun Mukund '25, who will attend Duke University in the fall. The Foundation reviewed the maximum 3,000 applications from all 50 states and abroad. Following an online application process, 100 finalists from 29 states were selected for interviews. This prestigious group of young leaders shares a unified goal of making a positive impact in the greater community and world. A Cameron Impact Scholar must demonstrate a positive engagement in community service, exhibit strong leadership qualities, be active in extracurricular activities, and show strength in academics. Most notably, those identified as Cameron Impact Scholars must show the ability to make real, tangible contributions to their families, friends, and the greater society using their own individual gifts and talents. The Bryan Cameron Education Foundation is a private, family foundation that was established by Bay Area philanthropist Bryan Cameron in 2015 on the principle of making an impact. Through its four-year undergraduate scholarship program, the Foundation aims to provide ample support for extraordinary young adults who see their college education as a stepping stone toward a lifetime of contribution to the greater good. “Many in this Class have already made a meaningful contribution to institutions and individuals in their local communities, which is a great start toward broader impact as opportunities arise,” said Bryan Cameron, Chairman and Founder. "This is our 9th Class of 15 Scholars each, and our entire community of 135 Scholars continue to impress and inspire many by their contributions and abilities to create positive change in their communities. Personally, they give me great hope for the future of our country and world.” |
