The Greenhill football team fell 36-28 to Fort Worth Country Day on Friday. While the Hornets had more first downs and plays, they also had more penalties and penalty yards against them, which the Falcons used to their advantage. The Hornets struggled with rushing yards, only totaling 2 yards. Will Black threw for 324 yards and 4 touchdowns with 1 interception. Had plenty of targets, including Trey Davis (10 catches for 108 yards), Austin Price (8 catches for 97 yards), Bryson Watt (6 catches for 85 yards), and Garrett Koerner (6 catches for 34 yards). Trey Davis tagged in as quarterback for one throw to William Black for six yards. On defense, Kaden Castillo had 1 sack. The Hornets are now even on the season, 3-3. |
