Hornets Travel to Austin and Win Big

The Greenhill girls volleyball team earned two wins in Austin last week in Austin, defeating St Stephen's Episcopal School and St Andrew’s Episcopal School.

The Greenhill girls volleyball team hit the road for a Friday game against St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, where they swept the Highlanders in a fun Pink Out match. The Hornet’s offense was led by Georgia Thurmond and Jordy Wilkofsky with 7 kills each. Jackie Dishman ran the offense with 20 assists and added 2 aces as well. Kendall Johnson led the back row with 18 digs, and Noelle Harrison added 5 blocks in the match.

On Saturday, the girl faced St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, where they fought hard to win in 5. Jackie Dishman orchestrated our offense with 28 assists in addition to 5 aces and 17 digs. Our offense had a strong day with Georgia Thurmond and Jordy Wilkofsky with 13 kills each followed by Anaya Dube with 12 kills. Anaya also added 4 blocks in the match.

The Hornets maintain second place in the district, with a 3-1 record.
