Hornets Earn 60-49 Win Over H.S.A.A.
The Greenhill girls basketball team took down H.S.A.A. at home on December 16.

The Greenhill girls basketball team did a fantastic job of avenging their opening season loss against a very good H.S.A.A. team. The Hornets played a tight first half, trailing by 2 after 16 minutes. The third quarter did not start the way the Hornets hoped, with H.S.A.A. going on a 9-2 run to start the period. However, the Hornets tightened up their defense and went on a nice run scoring the next 18 points. It was an outstanding team effort, with the scoreboard showing 60-49 at the buzzer. The Hornets are now 8-5 on the season and look to their match against Ursuline Academy on December 19. |
