Hornets Compete at Crowley Tournament

The Greenhill boys basketball team competed in the Crowley Tournament to close out November.

Game 1: The Hornets had no problem against Naaman Forest, earning the win, 75-26. The following Hornets contributed to the score: Jaxson Thompson (16), Trey Davis (12), Juan Barrientos (11), Dillon Watt (10), Kameron Smith (8), Eli Sims (7), Cole Feldman (5), Mason Finley (2), Sam Schultz (2), and Bryson Watt (2)

Game 2: The Hornets took their second game in the tournament against Crowley into overtime, where they were unable to get the win, falling 78-80. Scoring for Greenhill were Jaxson Thompson (30), Dillon Watt (18), Juan Barrientos (12), Kameron Smith (6), Trey Davis (5), Bryson Watt (5), and Eli Sims (2).

Gold Bracket Semi-final: The Hornets punched their ticket to the Gold Championship after defeating Kingdom Collegiate 83-73. The following players got on the board: Jaxson Thompson (28), Dillon Watt (24), Trey Davis (10), Bryson Watt (8), Juan Barrientos (5), Declan Kirk (4), and Kameron Smith (4).

Gold Championship: To close out the tournament, the Hornets faced a tough Lake Highlands team and were unable to get the victory, falling 55-58. Scoring for Greenhill were Jaxson Thompson (21), Dillon Watt (14), Juan Barrientos (10), Kameron Smith (4), Bryson Watt (4), and Declan Kirk (2).

The Hornets are now 5-2 on the season.
