Hornets Blank John Paul II on the Road

The Greenhill football team blew past John Paul II High School on the road on September 20, defeating the Cardinals 52-0.

The Greenhill football team had no problem on the road on Friday, taking down John Paul II High School 52-0. At the half, the Hornets were up 31-0, giving the Cardinals little hope for a comeback, but after tacking on another 14 in the third, there was no chance.

Quarterback Will Black threw for 329 years and five touchdowns with an 84.2% competition rate. His targets included Austin Price (7 catches for 133 yards), Trey Davis (5 catches for 137 yards), Garrett Koerner (3 catches for 43 yards), and Bryson Watt (1 catch for 16 yards).

On the defensive side, Bryson Watt and Dillion Watt brought in an interception each, and Garrett Koerner forced a fumble that was recovered by Mayer Sidkaro.
