Math Students Qualify for Invitational Competition
Congratulations to five Greenhill students who qualified for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination.
In November, several Greenhill students competed in the American Mathematics Competition 10/12 (AMC10/12). These challenging competitions include 25 multiple-choice questions that cover high school mathematics and develop their problem-solving abilities. They serve as the first step in qualifying for prestigious international mathematics competitions. Five students earned high enough scores to qualify for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME), a 15-question, three-hour examination. Congratulations to Aaron Kuang ’26, Aarav Mehta ’29, Collin Sun ’27, Evan Tsai ’28, and Justin Wu ’26. The top-scoring participants on the AIME are invited to take the USAJMO (USA Junior Mathematics Olympiad) or USAMO (USA Mathematics Olympiad). |
