We are excited to continue our virtual alumni series, bringing together Greenhill graduates across industries to connect, learn, and support each other’s professional journeys and to connect with future alumni interested in the field. Our panels are open to all members of the Greenhill community, including current students, parents/guardians, and faculty. They will feature alumni sharing insights, career advice, and networking opportunities in their fields.

Whether you’re already practicing, exploring legal careers, or currently in law school, this is a great chance to expand your network and gain valuable insights.
We hope you’ll join us on Tuesday, February 25, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm CST for this engaging conversation with Ashley Harris Johnston ’98, Kathryn Tobolowsky Koshkin ’98, Jamillah Pate DeGroat ’08, and Morgan Pearlman ’13 (read more about them below).

Ashley Harris Johnston '98 is a dedicated attorney based in Dallas, Texas, with a focus on health law and corporate transactions. She earned her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2007 and her undergraduate degree from Duke University in 2002. Board Certified in Health Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Ashley brings deep expertise to her practice. With a career built on guiding clients through business formations, mergers and acquisitions, and complex contractual agreements, Ashley is known for her thoughtful counsel and strategic insight. Her work has earned her recognition as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star (2010–2019) and a spot on D Magazine’s “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list (2016, 2017). Beyond her practice, Ashley has lent her knowledge as an adjunct professor of healthcare law at the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law. Ashley is a founding member of Weaver Johnston Nelson PLLC and also continues her career at Korenvaes Management LLC. |

Kathryn Tobolowsky Koshkin '98 is an Executive Legal Recruiter with LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Parker & Lynch). She places attorneys in law firms throughout Texas. Kathryn's career has been a dynamic journey of growth and transformation. She began her professional life as a teacher, where she discovered her passion for guiding others and fostering a love for learning. This passion led Kathryn to pursue a career in law, where she honed her skills as an advocate and problem-solver. After practicing law, Kathryn found her true calling in recruitment, where she can combine her legal expertise with her desire to help others achieve their career goals. Kathryn graduated from Greenhill School in 1998 and pursued her studies in history and French literature at Colgate University, earning her degree in 2002. She then obtained a masters of arts in teaching at Manhattanville University while beginning her teaching career on the East Coast. Upon returning to Dallas, Kathryn furthered her education at SMU Dedman School of Law, graduating in 2013. She currently resides in Dallas with her two children, a kitten, two gerbils, and three backyard chickens. |

Jamillah Pate DeGroat '08 is a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase, where she specializes in data and AI law. With a background in financial services, technology, and regulatory compliance, Jamillah provides legal guidance on data usage, AI-driven solutions, and fintech innovations. She earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where she received a Certificate in Business Law, and holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Hampton University. Dedicated to community service, Jamillah is an active member of the Junior League of Dallas and is involved in various service-oriented organizations that focus on mentorship, education, and community empowerment. |

Morgan Pearlman '13 is a senior policy advisor in the New York City Mayor's Office. She works for First Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer and manages the library systems, the cultural and tourism sector, cross-agency special projects, and is working on the Charter Revision Commission. Prior to working at City Hall, Morgan was a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and was a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs. Morgan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford Law School. |
