Students Participate in Nationwide Book Voting
Congratulations to the Middle School students who participated in the Children’s Book Council’s Favorites Awards.

From August 2023 to January 2024, Greenhill Middle School students participated in the Children’s Book Council’s Favorites Awards. Students in grades five through eight shared their opinions about books they read, from more than 250 newly published books that were sent for free to Greenhill from mainstream publishers. The students then voted on the ones they liked best, and their opinions helped create the CBC Favorites Awards Lists – the most diverse and vibrant book lists anywhere. Greenhill was one of the 80 select community leaders nationwide to participate. It is a large honor to participate in the program, and we are proud of these students who took it seriously – reading and sharing their opinions on many books. |
