Hornets Close Out December with Tournament Play

The Greenhill boys basketball team played at home in the Greenhill Showcase to close out 2024.

Day 1, Game 1: Greenhill started the tournament on a high note, flying past Newman International 82-26. Contributing to the score were: Juan Barrientos (24), Dillon Watt (12), Jaxson Thompson (11), Trey Davis (10), Kameron Smith (8), Declan Kirk (7), Eli Sims (6), and Bryson Watt (4).

Day 1, Game 2: The Hornets continued the momentum against BTPA-Rockwall, winning 59-50. Juan Barrientos (8), Trey Davis (4), Kameron Smith (13), Jaxson Thompson (9), Bryson Watt (3), and Dillon Watt (22) scored.

Day 2, Game 1: Greenhill did not slow down when they faced Dallas Christian on the second day, with the Hornets winning 79-45. The following Hornets scored: Juan Barrientos (3), Trey Davis (2), Cole Feldman (3), Declan Kirk (6), Eli Sims (11), Kameron Smith (8), Jaxson Thompson (18), Bryson Watt (8), and Dillon Watt (20).

Day 2, Game 2: To close out the tournament, Greenhill demolished Kingdom Collegiate 113-65. Juan Barrientos (10), Trey Davis (8), Cole Feldman (6), Declan Kirk (7), Eli Sims (5), Kameron Smith (13), Jaxson Thompson (29), Bryson watt (2), and Dillon Watt (33).
