Band Members Selected for TMEA All-State Band

Congratulations to Rachel Jiang and Aditi Vikram for earning a chair in the Texas Music Educators Association’s 3A All-State Band.

In early January, Greenhill took seven band members to the Association of Texas Small School Bands Area auditions for an opportunity to earn a chair in the TMEA/ATSSB 3A All-State Band. The following musicians were selected:

Rachel Jiang ’26, 1st chair flute. This will be her third year as an All-State musician.
Aditi Vikram ’25, 5th chair clarinet – This will be her third year as an All-State musician. As a senior, she will be recognized at the All-State concert in February and receive a $500 scholarship.

Both students will join Amanda Ye, ’28, a cellist from the orchestra who auditioned in November, on the trip to San Antonio for the TMEA Convention. Their concerts will be on Saturday, February 15.
