Greenhill Students Earn First Place Finishes at TSJCL State Competition

Thirty-five Greenhill Middle School students attended at the Texas State Junior Classical League State Convention on April 5-6, where they competed in academics, art, and athletics. The JCLers brought home over 50 ribbons, contributing to winning the first-place Sweepstakes TSJCL State trophy for the third year in a row.

The team of Tomal Khan ’28, Ansh Gandhi ’28, Arman Makhani ’28, Connor Kim ’28, and Rishi Kumbhani ’28 earned Greenhill its first-ever Intermediate Certamen TSJCL State trophy. The group of eighth graders competed against high school students from across the state, earning them the right to represent the state at Nationals.

Of the students who competed, 19 are Nationals bound in July.

Congratulations to all the hard-working students for their achievements.
